I'm no food expert however this seems pretty authentic and it's small enoough ( quaint) that you can look in the kitchen and know if they are heating up frozen dinners! Staff is great and make you feel right at home, more then my own family.

There is a bar. I saw someone eating there but it's not a large bar. Perhaps good for appetizers.
